Founded in 1852, we are a Sailing Club with a rich history and strong racing tradition. With superb access to the sheltered Poole Harbour, our members can be found out sailing in all weathers, at all times of year and at all states of tide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based next to the ferry terminal in Poole, our club house has stunning views over the harbour and we host social and sailing events throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our members are a friendly and diverse community; Olympians and novices, long distance cruisers and day skippers, keen racers and recreational sailors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Full dinghy and cruiser racing programme with racing several times a week<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Social cruising programme from April to October<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Social sailing twice a week from May to September<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dinghies for hire including Hartley 15s, Fusions and Optimists plus SUPs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Excellent RYA accredited training for children at all levels<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Social events throughout the year<\/li>\n\n\n\n
